A downloadable game for Windows
Transliterate is a reaction game that utilizes your whole keyboard.
With increasingly difficult gameplay, see how fast you can react by hitting keys as they travel across your screen. Face six different opponents, each with unique gameplay mechanics to allow for non-repetitive gameplay.
Transliterate features custom gamemodes to allow you to fully customize the speed to your liking, premade modes for immediate action, competitive leaderboards, stories, and a work-in-progress (but technically currently functional) level-builder to share custom levels with other players! Get typing!
CONTROLS
- Respective keyboard keys
- Backspace (x5) to exit current game
TECHNICAL NOTES
- Transliterate is in its public beta release stage. Expect bugs & rough edges!
- Playing in fullscreen allows for the best experience. There may be resolution bugs in windowed/other modes.

I've been playing it for a little while and i'm absolutely loving what i'm seeing! i enjoy the gameplay a lot, and my only complaints is that the UI needs some more polish and the dialogue needs a ''complete'' button so one can read it quickly, but i assume this will be worked on in the future.
I wish you the best of luck with your project and that i may see a full release one day.
Hey, thanks so much for trying out my game, it means a lot to me! I'm really glad that you have been enjoying it, and I both appreciate and agree with your constructive criticism. Also, apologies for taking a month to get back to you, I didn't expect anyone to actually try it out haha. I'm currently working on a new version of this game that will be web-based (so a lot more accessible and easy to play) and in my opinion a lot more polished. I've learned a lot more skills since I released this game and hope that I can show them off. Thanks again for reaching out and I'll let you know when the new version is available!
